From those who have more to spend

Posted on: October 7, 2010

“BRITAIN’S new chancellor of the exchequer is normally regarded as a rather divisive character. Yet by announcing that he is planning to cut child benefit to higher-rate taxpayers, George Osborne seems to have united the entire nation in opposition to the coalition government’s plans.”|hig|10-07-2010|editors_highlights.

(Just wondering, is this a way to gain support for future, more severe cuts? Build up public trust upfront, save the worst for last?)
